Planning something new
Fireplaces, furnace replacements, gas lines, BBQ connections and pool heaters. Send photos of the space, the appliance model if you have one and a picture of your meter or propane tank. We check the fit, venting and gas supply first, so the quote covers everything and install day has no surprises.
Fixing something that isn't working
Furnaces, gas fireplaces and pool heaters that won't light, short cycle or show an error code. Send the model and what it's doing. A furnace with no heat is usually seen the same or next day, and evening or weekend visits can be booked.
Homes in town usually run on Enbridge natural gas, and many rural properties run on propane. Do I need to know which service I need?
No. Tell us what you want to add, replace or fix, and share any appliance details you can safely find. You'll be pointed to the right service, and the quote is free.
How quickly can you come for a furnace with no heat?
Usually the same or next day. Text or call with the furnace model and any flashing light code so we arrive prepared.
Do you work with natural gas and propane?
Yes. Homes in town usually run on natural gas, and many rural properties run on propane. Fireplaces, furnaces, ranges, BBQs and pool heaters can be set up for either.
Can one request cover more than one appliance?
Yes. List every appliance you have or plan to add. We check the gas supply for the whole home, not one connection at a time, and can quote the work together.
Is chimney sweeping the same as gas fireplace service?
No. Chimney sweeping cleans a wood-burning chimney. Gas fireplace maintenance looks after the gas appliance itself. WETT inspections, chimney liner work and masonry repairs are separate services.

Yes. Reilly, the owner, is a G2 gas technician with more than 10 years in the trade, and Platinum Gas is TSSA-registered.

Yes to both. Every quote is free, and evening and weekend appointments are available for visits that don't fit a workday.
