Should I choose the BBQ before having the gas line installed?
Choose the model, or narrow the options enough to confirm their fuel and rated gas demand. Include side burners and other gas appliances in the plan. The supply, connection and required clearances need to match the equipment that will actually be installed.
Can a gas line be added after the outdoor kitchen is finished?
It may be possible, but stone, cabinetry, decking and landscaping can restrict the route or require openings. Contact us before those finishes are installed when possible. If the kitchen is complete, send photos of the appliance position and accessible areas so we can discuss assessment and access.
Who handles trenching, sleeves and cabinet openings?
Your quote identifies who completes each task. The project may need utility and private-line locates, excavation, sleeves, cabinet openings and finish restoration in addition to the gas work. Confirm those responsibilities with your landscape or kitchen contractor before construction.
Can my propane BBQ be converted to natural gas?
Only if the manufacturer approves a conversion for the exact model and the required provisions are available. Many grills are sold for one fuel configuration. Send the full model number before buying conversion parts or arranging a new connection.
What affects a BBQ or outdoor kitchen gas-line quote?
The appliance demand, number of connections, available supply, line distance and access affect the gas work. Underground routes and built-in cabinetry can add preparation. Construction of the kitchen, electrical work and restoration are included only if listed in the quote.
What care does a permanent BBQ connection need?
Follow the appliance manufacturer's cleaning, inspection and seasonal-storage instructions. Keep cabinet ventilation and access to shutoffs clear, and arrange qualified service for damaged connections or unusual operation. Have a replacement grill checked against the existing fuel and supply. Arrange utility and private-line locates before digging near buried piping.
