Gas on, job off your list
The line is pressure-tested and the appliance is lit and checked before we leave. Your office gets the job notes and one invoice.
Bring us in early.
Send the model numbers and a drawing while the job is still framing. We'll tell you the rough opening, where the vent runs and whether the gas supply can handle it.
A fireplace is the usual one, but it's the same for furnaces, gas lines, pool heaters, BBQs and anything else outdoors, on natural gas or propane. Sorting it out on paper costs a lot less than opening a finished wall.
Your customer stays your customer.
You decide who books the visit, who approves a change and who follows up after. We do the gas work and answer to you.
Want it to look like one crew? We can wear your shirt on site and send photos and job notes to your office when it's done. The gas work is still done under Platinum Gas's own TSSA registration, so there's never a question about who did it.

Agree on a price sheet for the jobs you send most, and your office can quote a customer without waiting on us.
Platinum Gas invoices your business and you bill your customer. Updates and job notes go to whoever you name.

Can we try one job first?
Yes. Send what's going in, the town and your timing. We come back with a price and a date, and you decide from there.
How do pricing and billing work?
Every job gets a free quote before it starts. If you send the same kind of job often, we can agree on a price sheet with you, so your office isn't waiting on a quote each time. Platinum Gas invoices your business and you bill your customer. Billing your customer directly can be set up if you'd rather. An exclusive arrangement needs its own written agreement.
Is the gas work licensed?
Yes. Reilly is a G2 gas technician, and Platinum Gas is registered with the TSSA as a fuels contractor for natural gas and propane. The authorization number is FS-R-51771, and anyone can look it up on the TSSA website.
Our office needs vendor paperwork. Can you handle that?
Send the vendor form or checklist with your first job, whether it asks for registration, insurance, WSIB or site documents. We go through each item with you before the job is booked.
Who supplies the equipment, and what if there's a problem later?
You choose who supplies the equipment. Extra work is priced and approved first, by whoever you name. If something is wrong with the gas work afterward, the Platinum Gas workmanship warranty covers it, and the appliance keeps its manufacturer's warranty.
Will our customer know Platinum Gas did the gas work?
Yes. We can wear your shirt and the customer stays yours, but the gas work is always identified as Platinum Gas's, because Platinum Gas is the registered contractor doing it.
Where do you work, and when?
Durham Region, Port Hope and Cobourg, out of Bowmanville. Evening and weekend appointments are available, which helps when the site is only free after hours.
